01Data controller
The controller of the processing of your data is Yellow Film Inc., operator of GetViralHook. Contact for privacy matters: hola@getviralhook.com.
02What data we collect
- Account: name and email when you sign up.
- Waitlist: email, name (optional), plan of interest, date and time, and IP address — the IP address and the date are retained as evidence of your consent to receive launch emails.
- Use of the Service: the text you submit to generate scripts, the generated scripts, your settings and basic product activity. There is no end-to-end encryption: the team may access this data in order to operate the Service and provide support.
- Payment: payment is processed by Stripe. We never store your full card details. We receive from Stripe the status of the subscription and the last digits of the card.
- Analytics: browsing data (page views, device, interactions) only if you consent to analytics or marketing cookies.
03What we use it for
- Providing the Service: generating your scripts, maintaining your account and your history.
- Billing and subscription management.
- Service (transactional) communications and, with your consent, news and launch updates.
- Improving the product and measuring campaigns (analytics/marketing, only with consent).
- Security, abuse prevention and legal compliance.
04Legal basis
We process your data on two bases: performance of the contract (everything necessary to provide you with the Service you purchased) and your consent (waitlist, marketing emails and non-essential cookies). You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the Service you purchased.
05Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors we need in order to operate:

Each processor processes the data under its own data protection terms and solely for the stated purpose.
06Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data at any time by writing to hola@getviralhook.com from your account email address. We respond within a maximum of 30 days. If you are on the waitlist, every email includes a link to unsubscribe instantly.
07Retention
- Account data and scripts: for as long as the account is active and for up to 90 days after its deletion (for recovery in the event of errors), unless a longer statutory retention obligation applies.
- Waitlist: until the launch and its announcement, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first.
- Billing records: for the period required by applicable tax regulations.
08International transfers
Our servers and processors may be located in the United States or in other countries. By using the Service, you accept this transfer. We work only with processors that provide contractual data protection safeguards.
09Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will give notice by email or within the product before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date appears at the top.
